Application
1.Hydrometallurgy: Precipitation for rare metals
2.Organic Synthesis: For example, in the 180 ºC ~ 200 ºC and mercury salts (such as HgCl2) as a catalyst ,under the conditions of hydrogen chloride and acetylene addition reaction, the formation of vinyl chloride, and then under the action of the initiator, polymerization of polyvinyl chloride
3.Bleaching and dyeing industry: For example, after cotton mercerizing , the residual alkali could be washed by hydrochloric acid. In the printing and dyeing process, some dyes do not dissolve in water, hydrochloric acid may change these dyes into soluble hydrochloride salt.
4.Metal cleaning: Steel parts, before electroplating, at first cleaning with caustic soda solution to remove oil, and bathing with hydrochloric acid.Remove all oil and metal oxide on its surface.
5.Food industry: Hydrochloric acid is used to hydrolyze starch to produce starch syrup.
6.Production of Inorganic and organic drugs.
Properties
Hydrochloric acid, a potent aqueous solution of hydrogen chloride, stands as an invaluable asset across numerous industries. This clear, transparent liquid carries a distinct, pungent aroma and exhibits significant corrosive properties. Boasting a high concentration, specifically around 37%, hydrochloric acid is exceptionally volatile. Upon opening a container of concentrated hydrochloric acid, chlorinated hydrogen readily evaporates and interacts with atmospheric water vapor, forming minute hydrochloric acid droplets and resulting in a visible acid mist above the container's opening.
Industrial-grade hydrochloric acid often presents a slight yellow hue due to ferric salt impurities. This versatile acid seamlessly mixes with water and ethanol, and hydrogen chloride dissolves in a variety of organic solvents. When diluted, hydrochloric acid releases heat, underscoring its dynamic nature and broad spectrum of applications.

Product Storage
Store in a cool, well ventilated warehouse. Storage temperature is less than 30ºC, and the relative humidity is less than 85%. Keep the container sealed. Keep separate from alkalis, amines, alkali metal and flammable or combustible substance and be careful not to place them together. The leakage emergency treatment facility and appropriate collecting containers should be available in the storage area.
